A spinal cord injury affects an individual and his or her family in many ways. The changes can be overwhelming in a new world that includes such concerns as durable medical equipment, accessibility issues, and secondary medical conditions. That's why the Spinal Cord Injury Association is available to help people find answers to the many questions that arise - both immediately after an injury and years down the road. The association's Executive Director and volunteer staff work with professionals throughout the state to identify resources and refer individuals to the most appropriate services.
